LAB
We live in a media space and absorb a huge amount of information every day, so an integral part of education today is the ability to use, create, search and analyze information.
At Media Lab > Baltic Network, we will explore the most important aspects of media consumption with experts from various fields. If you are ready to acquire one of the most important skills of our time, then this is the place for you!

12 tasks
6 weeks
After the first meeting, teams will have access to an online system with 12 challenges of varying difficulty. The practical part of the programme will last six weeks. The programme is designed in an informal and game-based format. Each task has its own "price". Each team is free to choose how, when and how many tasks to complete, and participants plan their own strategy - the more points, the more likely they are to qualify for the finals and win.

"This year we have created a new Media Lab format. It will be a game for teams, six weeks and 12 tasks of varying levels of complexity - content creation and analysis, video production, debate organisation, research. Each team chooses when, how and how many tasks to complete and can be awarded points for each activity. Our aim is to activate young people, to help them create their own activities, materials, research - to become more active and involve their peers"

"During one weekend, the Media Lab > Baltic Network event will take place in Rēzekne (Latvia) and Narva (Estonia) for young people from both countries in a mixed face-to-face and online format. During the event, participants will meet mentors and experts from different countries and professionals from different fields. In the second phase of Media Lab, participants will compete against their peers in cities, towns and villages in Latvia and Estonia, and young people will have the opportunity to actively engage their communities, schools and neighbourhoods in media literacy activities."
