Conducting a deepfake study

> ASSIGNMENT

Find a "deepfake" video and do a survey as an experiment on "can people tell the difference between a deepfake and an original video?"

Conditions:

- Read the attached materials about deepfakes.

- Find 1 deepfake video and 1 original video.

- Then make a poll (you can create a poll on Quizizz.com or any other service (Google Forms, Kahoot, etc.), social media stories (Instagram, Facebook), etc.

The survey should consist of three questions:

  1. What is the age of the respondent?

  2. Can the respondent tell the difference between the deepfake and the original video ( yes/no and how does the respondent think)

  3. Showing 2 videos where one of the videos is a deepfake, ask the respondent which of the two videos he/she thinks is the original?

Minimum number of respondents is 50.

At the end of the survey, analyze the results of your experiment.

Important:

Be sure to write about the results of the survey and your conclusions.

Submission of the assignment:

Make a report of up to 1 page (A4 format) of your findings. Use visualization (graphs, charts) to facilitate the perception of the information. To confirm the completed assignment, upload the file with the text to Google Drive in the folder named Deepfake. Check in with Slack (Assignments chatroom) that the task has been completed.
